For one person the one bed room was just right and cozy. Very clean and nice decor. Continental breakfast was simple but will get you started on your day. This is a great quaint place to stay, I would stay again. .
The only con is there is no parking. I had to park 2 blocks away in paid parking, but I felt as if my car was safer there anyway because 24 hour attendant
Very goog price and very clean rooms, located in a nice area near restaurants and metro stations
They do not have wifi access to internet
The daytime desk clerk was extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Also, I was permitted to store my luggage after checkout.
It was very convenient, close to Dupont Circle, restaurants, shops, etc.I Liked the international feel of it.
While I appreciated having a continental breakfast it was too heavy on carbs. It would have been nice to have some of the following: yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs...It was advertised that wine and snacks would be served some days 5-7.This didn't happen during the week I was there.
clean cordial, efficient staff safe---one entrance which is closely monitored
The absolutely best thing was that the air con in the room may actually be switched off!! :) I'm not used to having these things constantly blowing day and night (in contrast to most americans, it seems), so this was a great relief. The location is very convenient, just down the road from White house. Metro stations are not far away. The hotel provides free tea any time. The room was quite large and comfortable.
The breakfast is not a breakfast at all - just bread and some pastries. Also they don't seem to have enough room for people to sit, so everyone is crammed at one large table, and some small ones put up in the corridor.
Internet connection was unavailable on the 5th floor and very poor on the 1st and 2nd floors. This is a serious disadvantage for the modern traveler who needs to stay connected. I felt cheated, because wifi availability is advertised online. Because of this I may chose another hotel next time.
All three staff members that we met at reception were very nice and helpful. I was worried about staying at the hotel as I had read bad reviews on line, but found them to be totally false. The Embassy Inn is in a very good location for city tours and meetings, has clean and modern rooms, and, most importantly, very kind and helpful staff.
Breakfast was a little boring
The Embassy is a very nice and cozy hotel. Dont expect large rooms or a large breakfast area, but the whole place has a nice homey feel to it. Everything is well taken care of and has a luxurious feel to it. You cant beat the location for the price either.
The quiet and being able to relax once I was there.
The wifi service was a bit unreliable. Working for a little then having to reconnect.
They lost my reservation, and acted as though they were doing me a favor by trying to find a room Rooms were small Tile was breaking up in the shower Breakfast consisted of bread Phone did not work
location small size
need to serve something healthier for breakfast. Adding fruit would be great. cleaning staff outside myroom in the early morning talking woke me up two mornings in a row
location suitted us best
bed & room small
cleaness value for money
staff not very friendly breakfast ok of you arrive first. Breakfast room too small => nobody can find a place to eat, some people took their breakfast in their room for this reason
Location. Free coffee. Free internet.
Breakfast. Gluten and nothing else and all plastic cutlery. Wi-Fi does not reach above 4th floor
